Sue Khoo... Lady of Style and Substance
~Asian American Reporter/October 2006 Special Edition Issue

What word best describes a lady that is inspiring, intelligent, witty and highly respected in the community? I woud choose " Classy".

Sue Khoo graduated as a Licensed Registered Nurse and midwife in Taiwan in 1971 and completed a year of Physical Rehabilitation studies. Later, the Taiwanese Government sponsored a program where Sue received a certification in Interior Design and Flower Arranging. During this time, she also studied under a master for Feng Shui.

Sue Khoo is another American success story. She arrived in the United States in 1973 from Taiwan, Republic of China with only a few suitcases and $800 in her pocket.

But that did not deter her from starting on her road to success. Determined and strong willed. Sue did not waste time to engage herself in business. In 1976, she moved to Galveston, Texas from new york and opened a supermarket, restaurant and gift shop while working as an RN at UTMB John Sealy Hospital's labor-delivery room.  If that is not enough she also received her certified in real Estate at Galveston College and studied Business administartion at the University of Houston in Clearlake.

She recieved her first major interview while in Houston on three of the major television networks, ABC, CBS, and NBC for her involvement in the Houston Chinese Community and a chance to share about the Chinese culture and art. She also published a nationwide magazines, Mandarin Digest.

A former student of Dr.W.Edwards Deming, she organized a semianr teaching his philosophy in 1994 in his memory. Sue Khoo believs that you cannot have enough when comes to learning. She attended extensive business training seminar under Dale Carnegie and self improvement to suuccess training with Tony Robinson.
